Overview
Welcome to Guide Vault. The terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Guide Vault, operating at pdfguideshop.org. We sell digital guides and downloadable PDF products (the “Products”) through this website and its related content, features and tools (the “Services”). Guide Vault is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you.
These Terms of Service, together with our Refund Policy, Delivery Policy and Privacy Policy, describe your rights and responsibilities when you use the Services. Please read them carefully — they include important information about licensing, refunds, warranty disclaimers and limitations of liability.
By visiting, interacting with or purchasing from the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
1. Eligibility and Account
By agreeing to these Terms you confirm that you are at least the age of majority in your place of residence. To purchase, you may be asked to provide information such as your email address and billing details. You confirm that all information you provide is accurate, current and complete, and that you have the right to provide it.
You are responsible for the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You may not transfer, sell or assign your account to another person.
2. Our Products
All Products sold by Guide Vault are digital downloads. No physical goods are shipped. Product descriptions, contents and pricing are subject to change at any time without notice. We may discontinue any Product at any time.
We make every effort to describe our Products accurately. We do not warrant that any Product will meet your particular expectations, produce any specific outcome, or be suitable for any particular purpose.
3. Licence to Use Digital Products
When you purchase a Product, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable licence to download and use that Product for your own personal, non-commercial use.
You may not:
- Resell, redistribute, share, sublicense, lend or give away the Product or any part of it.
- Upload the Product to any file-sharing service, public website, cloud folder or group chat.
- Reproduce, republish or create derivative works from the Product for commercial purposes.
- Remove or alter any copyright notice, watermark or attribution contained in the Product.
- Use the Product, in whole or in part, to create a competing product.
All Products remain the intellectual property of Guide Vault or its licensors. Purchase transfers a licence to use, not ownership. Breach of this section terminates your licence immediately and may give rise to a claim for damages.
4. Orders, Prices and Payment
When you place an order you are making an offer to purchase. Guide Vault may accept or decline any order at its discretion. Your order is accepted once payment is confirmed and we issue your download link.
All prices are listed in US Dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated. Prices, discounts and promotions may change without notice; the price that applies is the one in effect when your order is placed, as shown in your order confirmation email. Posted prices do not include any taxes, duties or bank charges that may apply in your country.
You confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method you provide, and that the payment details you supply are accurate.
5. Delivery of Digital Products
Download links are delivered to the email address entered at checkout immediately after payment is confirmed, and are also shown on the order confirmation screen. Links remain valid for 30 days and permit up to 5 downloads.
It is your responsibility to enter a correct email address at checkout and to ensure our messages are not blocked by your spam filter. If your link does not arrive, contact us and we will re-issue it at no charge.
We maintain a delivery record for every order, including the time each download link was issued and accessed.
6. Refunds and Chargebacks
Refunds are governed solely by our Refund Policy. Because Products are delivered instantly and cannot be returned, all sales are final once a download link has been accessed, except in the limited circumstances set out in that policy.
If you have any problem with an order, please contact us at shoppdfguide@gmail.com before filing a dispute with your bank or payment provider. We resolve almost every issue within one business day.
Filing a chargeback for a Product that was successfully delivered, in circumstances not covered by our Refund Policy, is a breach of these Terms. We reserve the right to submit our delivery records as evidence, to revoke your licence to the Product, and to decline future orders.
7. Acceptable Use
You may use the Services for lawful purposes only. You may not use the Services to infringe any intellectual property rights; to transmit malicious code; to harass or abuse any person; to transmit false or misleading information; to collect other users’ personal information; or to use any robot, scraper, automated process or AI tool to access, extract or reproduce any part of the Services or our Products.
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, without notice, if we determine that you have breached these Terms.
8. No Professional Advice
Our Products are provided for general information and educational purposes only. They do not constitute professional, legal, financial, medical or other specialist advice, and should not be relied upon as such. You are solely responsible for any decisions you make or actions you take based on our Products. Where appropriate, seek advice from a qualified professional.
9. Third-Party Links and Tools
The Services and our Products may contain links to third-party websites, tools or resources. We do not control these and are not responsible for their content, accuracy or availability. Accessing them is at your own risk and subject to their own terms.
10. Relationship with Shopify
Guide Vault is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you. Any sales and purchases you make are made directly with Guide Vault. Shopify is not responsible for any aspect of any sale between you and Guide Vault, including any injury, damage or loss resulting from purchased products and services. You release Shopify and its affiliates from all claims, damages and liabilities arising from or related to your purchases and transactions with Guide Vault.
11. Feedback
If you send us ideas, suggestions, reviews or other feedback, you grant us a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, modify, publish and display that feedback for any purpose, including commercial use. We are under no obligation to keep feedback confidential, to compensate you for it, or to respond to it.
12. Errors and Omissions
Occasionally information on the Services may contain typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions relating to product descriptions, pricing or availability. We reserve the right to correct any such errors and to change or update information, or cancel orders, at any time without prior notice, including after an order has been submitted.
13. Disclaimer of Warranties
EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY STATED, THE SERVICES AND ALL PRODUCTS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT REPRESENTATIONS, WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE OR ERROR-FREE. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
14. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GUIDE VAULT AND ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, CONTRACTORS AND LICENSORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, PUNITIVE, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST REVENUE OR LOSS OF DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES OR ANY PRODUCT. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Product giving rise to the claim.
15. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Guide Vault and Shopify, and our respective affiliates, officers, employees and agents, from any losses, damages, liabilities or claims, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of your breach of these Terms, your violation of any law or third-party right, or your use of the Services.
16. Severability, Waiver and Entire Agreement
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, that provision shall be severed and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force. Our failure to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver of it. These Terms, together with the policies referenced in them, constitute the entire agreement between you and Guide Vault.
17. Assignment
You may not assign or transfer these Terms or any of your rights under them without our prior written consent. We may assign or transfer these Terms without notice to you.
18. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Barbados, and you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Barbados.
